CSF 2004-05 Scholarship Recipiants

	Name: Ana Marija Knezevic Major: Law City of Birth: Velika Gorica Sponsors: Ana Marija lives in Velika Gorica with her mother, older brother and two younger sisters. She writes and speaks in English and German and loves Geography. She competed on a state and city level in Geography and accomplished excellent results.
	Name: Maria Rezo Major: Economics City of Birth: Posuje Sponsor: Mr. Robert Batinovic Marija lives in Posusje with her parents and two younger brothers. She loves sports and played basketball for three years as a member of the "Pususje" basketball club. Being an excellent student, she was given an opportunity to study computers and received a certificate of completion.
	Name: Toma Molnar Major: Natural Science City of Birth: Vukovar Sponsor: Mr. Frank Paladin Toma was born in Vukovar and as a young toddler moved to Zagreb with his family. He has a twin brother, who also plans to attend college, in addition to four other siblings, Toma loves languages and has participated in Latin language competitions in Italy.
	Name: Antonija Jozinovic Major: Medicine City of Birth: Globarica Sponsor: Mr. Tom Miskic Antonija was born in a little village called Globarica where she lives with her parents and two younger siblings. Her teachers praise her study habits and overall behavior and have voted Antonija as the student of the year.
	Name: Karolina Agatic Major: Medicine City of Birth: Zenica BH Sponsor: Dr. Marko Bodor Karolina was born in Zenica and lives in Donje Polje with her parents and two younger siblings. Ever since she was a youngster, Karolina wanted to become a doctor and help people. She is a member of a Croatian kolo group, Latin dance group and writes for a school paper.
	Name: Milica Masic Major: Geography City of Birth: Varazdin Sponsor: Croatian American Cultural Center, Sacramento Milica was born in Varazdin where she lives with her parents and an older sister. She loves sports very much and has competed many times in Track and Field events. Last year she won a first place in discus throwing.
	Name: Tomislav Landeka Major: Elektrotechnika City of Birth: Imotski Sponsor: Mr. Tony Ujdur Tomislav was born in Imotski and lives in Posusje with his large family. There are nine in his family and all of the children are attending school from first grade to college level.
>	Name: Ivan Sakac Major: Computer Science City of Birth: Velika Gorica Sponsors: Croatian American Cultural Center, Sacramento Ivan lives in Velika Gorica with his mother. He is a very ambitious and determined young man. He has been playing guitar for the past ten years and participated in numerous state and international competitions. He solo-performed in the Chamber Assembly, radio, television and other festivals.
	Name: Ivan Tomic Major: Law City of Birth: Bosanska Gradiska BH Sponsor: Mr. Robert Bronzan Ivan was born in Bosanska Gradiska and became a refugee during the war where his family settled in Nova Gradiska. He has excellent grades in all subjects and his favorite subject is Geography where he has earned a first place in various competitions.
	Name: Marija Gogic Major: Medicine City of Birth: Split Sponsor: Mr. Neno Duplancic Marija was born in Split where she lives with her parents and two younger brothers. Being a member of a church choir group and playing piano, she was invited to participate in an annual concert held in Germany for the Croatian community
	Name: Sabina Barbis Major: Architecture City of Birth: Rijeka Sponsor: Croatian American Cultural Center, Sacramento Sabina was born in Rijeka and currently lives on the island of Krk with her parents, younger brother and grandparents. During high school, she participated in many competitions and won first place in German and English languages25 and Chemistry. In her free time, Sabina loves to sing, read, paint and work on a computer.
	Name: Lucija Mestrovic Major: Archictecture City of Birth: Tomislavgrad BH Sponsor: Mr. Mike Grgich Lucija was born in Tomislavgrad and still lives there with her parents and three younger sisters. She has played basketball for the past seven years and is a member of the "Zupanjac" women's basketball club where they have competed on a state level.
	Name: Paula Pranjic Major: Law City of Birth: Mostar BH Sponsor: Croatian American Cultural Center, Sacramento Paula was born in Mostar where she lives with her parents and a brother. She is very active in extra curricular activities and managed to maintain her excellent grades. She wrote, directed and performed in a play, was a class president and wrote for the school newspaper. Being an active participant in the Youth Leadership Program, she helped trained the new members.
	Name: Sandra Milanko Major: Philosophy City of Birth: Split Sponsor: Mr. & Mrs. Bogdanovic Sandra lives in Split with her mother and an older sister. In addition to taking English in her school, Sandra attended a foreign language school in Split where she perfected her English language. She wrote many articles for her school paper and a few of them were published in "Slobodna Dalamcija" and "Svjedok".
	Name: Josip Madunic Major: Natural Science City of Birth: Split Sponsor: Croatian American Cultural Center, Sacramento Josip lives in Split with his mother and a younger sister. He has been swimming for the last twelve years and earned over 50 medals in various competitions throughout Croatia and Europe. As a young man, being a member of the "Mornar" swimming club has tought him many skills and provided him a very healthy outlet.
