	Name:Vedrana Bobinac Major: Economics City of Birth: Zagreb Sponsors: Robert Batinovic Vedrana is a very intelligent individual with many accomplishments. In addition to studying hard, she managed to work during her school vacations to earn money. In high school she was an exchange student in the United States where she mastered her English skills and had a very successful academic year. This experience will be quite beneficial in her future career as an International Lawyer.
	Name: Martina Brkljac Major: Natural Science City of Birth: Gospic Sponsor: Croatian American Cultural Center Sacramento Martina is a very active student and has participated in numerous competitions, which she completed with excellent results. In high school she was a newspaper editor. Her special achievements include being a member and a teacher of the Red Cross & First Aid foundation. She loves to dance, read and play piano. Martina plans to study Medicine in Zagreb.
	Name: Marija Herceg Major: Medicine City of Birth: Livno BH Sponsor: Marija is the oldest child in a family of seven siblings. Being one of the oldest children, she feels she had to be a good example. While attending high school she was an active member of dance and youth groups. Marija always wanted to be a Dentist and plans to study Dental Medicine in Split.
	Name: Bozana Hodak Major: Economics City of Birth: Bihac BH Sponsor: Darko Sertic Bozana was born in Bihac but lives in a small village close to the beautiful Plitvicka Jezera. She has five brothers and sisters and currently her parents are unemployed which makes it extremely difficult for them to provide and educate their children. Bozana loves to read and write and has been taking special courses in the English language, she plans to study Economics.
	Name: Ivana Leskovic Major: Graphic Design City of Birth: Slavonski Brod Sponsor: Robert Batinovic Ivana has five sisters and one brother and all siblings are attending schools, mostly colleges, she is the second to the youngest. When Ivana was eight years old, her mother passed away leaving her father with the responsibility of raising and educating his children. Ivana is a great student who loves to speak and write in various languages, she plans to study Computer Science.
	Name: Lucija Ostojic Major: Philosophy City of Birth: Mostar BH Sponsor: Mario Vlahovic Memorial Fund Lucija lives with her mother and two siblings in Citluk. She loves languages and hopes they will help her in her future career. She plans to studying Political Science with journalism as a minor.
	Name:Toma Pervan Major: Chemistry City of Birth: Zenica BH Sponsor: Toma is a very high achiever. He participated in numerous high school level competitions, wrote articles for various student newspapers and performed community service. He also performed in the high school play, Hamlet, and had his article published in Zbornik. He is fluent in English and German and plans to pursue a career in Medicine.
	Name: Lucija Parlas Major: Computer Science City of Birth: Imotski Sponsors: Tatijana Grgich Lucija has two brothers and one sister and all are attending school. Her father is the only income earner in the family and all three of the siblings will be in college. Lucija's interests are physics and math and she hopes to work with computers some day. She plays a guitar and loves to sings, she sings in two different choirs. Lucija plans to study Electronic Engineering.
	Name: Tomislav Terzic Major: Computer Science City of Birth: Doboj BH Sponsor: Gordon Black Tomislav is an excellent student who completed high-school with high marks. During the war his family was forced to leave their home and subsequently moved to Switzerland, where they lived for several years. He is fluent in English and plans to pursue a career in Computer Science.
	Name: Marko Vrgoc Major: Medicine City of Birth: Vinkovci Sponsor: George Kumparak Memorial Fund Marko comes from a family of nine with three older and three younger siblings. His favorite subjects are Biology and Chemistry and he plans to pursue a career in Medicine. In his free time, he loves to play handball (rukomet) and chess.
